Mesa Dulcina
We came up with the name of 'Mesa Dulcina' to honour our grand-aunt Tia Dulce. She was an impeccable lady who loved
and lived for her family. She showed her love best through her food. We are told that at her table, there was food for everyone who entered her home, at any time of the day.
For us 'Mesa Dulcina' is a name that evokes that memory of her, sitting at her table with delicious, home cooked food, sharing it freely with those who came to her.

The story behind Mesa Dulcina…
At Mesa Dulcina we aim to do just the same, to spread love through our food. This is something that is such a big part of Goan hospitality in our homes even to this day, something we hope to pass to the world through guests who visit our restaurant.
To bring this idea to life, we have to thank Chef Macustoy Almeida who is an artist at heart, who brought our vision to life through a lot of research and trials in the kitchen. The cuisine we bring to you is from the Portugal and its colonies, with local influences sprinkled from Goa!
We hope you enjoy the flavours and the stories behind them.
With love,
Sherwin Antao
